Ride the Rail Runner

Meet at the Los Ranchos Rail Runner Station parking lot at 7:45 am for a 45 mile ride to Belen. We will return via the Rail Runner. This group ride will be flat at a 14 mile per hour pace. We will not leave any slower riders behind. There will be rest stops on the ride but be sure to bring plenty of water. After the ride, we will have lunch in Belen before returning on the Rail Runner.  The Rail Runner leaves Belen at 12:45 pm and gets back to Los Ranchos at 1:40 pm.

4541 Corrales Rd. Check in by 11:45 and then met us in the parking lot. I will have grapes on my helmet, Blue Specialized bike and a mauve wine colored shirt.

How about some SIPPING to go with your cycling and club members?

Kids going back to school and still the dog days of summer???

Take a leisurely scenic ride through Corrales and enjoy the view at a slower pace.

HELMETS REQUIRED. Bring ID, water, sunscreen, and cash for a glass, bottle, or pizza afterwards while enjoying fine jazz on the patio.

Tickets by August 9 are $10.00

Rio Grande Century

Meet at the Alameda Open Space Parking Lot.

This is a flat, 100 mile ride to get in shape for the more challenging ones later in the year. Ride down to Los Lunas, Belen, and beyond before returning. Stops every 15 miles or so. Options for shorter 40, 62 and 85 mile rides. You can even take the RailRunner back if you get tired.  Maps will be provided to do this ride at your own pace. No sag support but there is an option to take the Rail Runner back. Come and join the fun.

Lobo Cancer Challenge

UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center

UNMCCC is the premier cancer research facility in NM and they are doing this bike ride as a fundraising event.

A good workout for a great cause.
